Blue Cruise

The Blue Cruise, also called a blue voyage or blue tour, is a multi-day relaxing sailing experience through Turkey's stunning southwestern coast aboard traditional wooden sailing vessels called gulets. Originally starting in Bodrum to discover the breathtaking coastal scenery, hidden bays, blue waters and historic coastal towns of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, today it also departs from Gulf of Fethiye for the Lycian Coastine, Antalya and Marmaris.

With unspoiled natural beauty and remarkably clear, clean turquoise blue waters, the region offers one of the safest swimming conditions in the world—calm, tideless and inhabited by friendly dolphins, turtles, shy fish, and marine birds.

The Blue Cruise gained its initial popularity through the writings of Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı (the Fisherman of Halicarnassus) and his literary and artistic circle, who introduced Turkish travelers to vacations combining relaxation, swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing with cultural exploration and archaeological site visits.

It represents an elegant, peaceful vacation experience that perfectly blends Turkey's natural coastal wonders with its historical and cultural treasures, and remains one of Turkey’s most distinctive and memorable experiences.

The Blue Cruise includes bay-hopping, swimming, snorkeling, leisurely walks ashore through forest and across hillsides, visits to villages and ancient sites, and—above all— the pleasure of living and relaxing on a wooden boat, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

SRM only works with a handful of captains/boat owners who keep their vessels pristine, employ a traveler-oriented crew, and provide delicious food to make sure you get the best possible experience.
