As the most complete ancient city in the world, Ephesus is a must-see destination. On the marble streets, you will walk in the footsteps of famous historical figures such as St. John, St. Paul, Marc Anthony and Cleopatra.
During the extensive visit, you will see all of the ancient city including highlights such as the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Terrace Houses (Roman villas of prominent Ephesians), the Marble Street and the famous theatre. You will learn the dynamics of the Roman Empire, the driving force behind its economy and the reason Paul wrote letters to Ephesians.
Your day starts with an hour-long flight to Ephesus (İzmir Airport), continues with an extensive visit to the ancient city, Ephesus Archaeological Museum, House of Mother Mary, Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) and ends with a return flight to Istanbul.
