You will start the day by embarking on the Çingene Vapuru in Eminönü, and until you disembark north of Istanbul, you will savor the view, drink tea in a tulip glass and bite into your simit, and taste the famous yoghurt in Kanlıca.
During the break in Anadolu Kavagi, you can enjoy a Black Sea style seafood lunch and hike up to the Byzantine Yoros Castle for a breathtaking view of where Bosphorus meets the Black Sea.
Cruising south, you will have a peek at the famous historical Bosphorus waterfront mansions (yali houses) that adorn the shoreline.

Visit the local fish market and sample the local delicacies, you can end your experience by a fast return to the city on land, or discover other rich layers of the city with one of the options:
Option 1: Visit the Sakip Sabanci Museum, the former stately manor of an industry giant, home to the best Ottoman illuminated calligraphy and a handsome 19th & 20th-century painting collection. From March through mid-June, enjoy the tulips — the Turkish flower — in nearby Emirgan park.
Option 2: Visit Ortakoy, a popular neighborhood by the European pillar of the Bosphorus Bridge. This pedestrian area was once the residence of non-Muslim citizens in Istanbul. Bustling with cafe houses, restaurants, and artist shops lining the streets, it is a favorite spot for locals to enjoy Bosphorus shoreline. You can sip tea in one of the waterfront tea houses and try your luck at backgammon.
Option 3: Visit Taksim and enjoy a walk through the main pedestrian drag of the city, Istiklal Street. It is the city's first neighborhood that developed outside the Old Town in the 19th century. This walk gives you a chance to learn about contemporary Istanbul and the lives of natives. The walk begins at Taksim Square, the Ottoman water distribution center of the city, follows the nostalgic tram rail and ends by the station of the world’s shortest subway. On this lively street, bookstores, art galleries, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, passages, shops frequented by locals, and monuments such as the Armenian Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity, Galatasaray High School, and palatial consulates of foreign countries. The walk also covers the picturesque Fish Market. Along the walk, time permitting, make a short detour to see the collection of Orientalist paintings at the small but impressive Pera Museum.
