Later in the day, you will enjoy a pleasant hike in the Taurus Mountains and will follow a forest trail on the Lycian Way through the Yanartaş National Park, home to the natural eternal flames known since antiquity. The gentle flicker of the flames against the rocky slope is as captivating today as it was to ancient mariners, and it was the source of the legend of Bellerophon and fire-breathing Chimera penned by Homer in the Illiad.
