Your day starts with an extensive tour of the Bodrum Castle, a.k.a Castle of St. Peter built by the Knights of St. John (Hospitallers)—also known as the Knights of Rhodes—in the early 15th century. After a meticulous restoration, the castle became the venue for the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, the best of its kind in the world. During the tour, you will visit the original towers and dungeon of the castle, see the oldest shipwreck of the world from the Bronze Age with its cargo, findings from the tomb of Queen Ada of Carian Kingdom, amphoras and other valuable artefacts.
Later in the day, you will meander the narrow streets of Bodrum and visit the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Time permitting, you can visit one or more art or craftsmen galleries.
