Located
in the village of Ayvali. Gamirasu is an exquisiteley restored
cave hotel that has 18 rooms. The group of caves that form
the hotel today, used to be a monastic retreat from the
Byzantine period and approximately 1000 years old. |
All rooms are unique in their shape and decoration and feel.
The volcanic rock that the caves are in preserves the heat
and keep the rooms between 17 C – 20 C both in the
summer and winter. |
Standart
room - There are nine standard rooms. They are
either carved into rock or built by volcanic stone. There
are rooms with both twin beds and double beds. Rooms have
hair dryer and a private shower and toilet. |
Deluxe
room - Larger in size cave rooms with a view of
the valley. Rooms have sitting corner with a traditional
divan. There is a shower or bathtub in the rooms, terrace,
hair drier, VCD player. There are four deluxe rooms. |
Cave
suite - The largest cave rooms in the facility,
they have a view of the rose garden. They are decorated
traditionally with kilims and carpets and there is a divan
in the sitting corner. They have a king size bed, bathroom
with Jacuzzi bathtub, shower, bathrobe set, garden terrace,
hairdryer, CD player with speakers in the room and bathroom,
kettle, tea, coffee. There are two cave suites. |
Deluxe
suite - A very romantic room. Both modern &
traditional design, spacious with fireplace and balcony
to enjoy sunset while you sip your local wine.
Room has: fireplace, balcony, private bathroom with bathtub
Jacuzzi & shower, bathrobe set, hair dryer, VCD player
(speakers in the room and bathroom), minibar, kettle for
tea and coffee. |
Family
suite - Two connecting bedrooms, each having a
door which can be locked or left open. The rooms open to
a private hallway. One room has a large bed, the other one
has two separate beds. Rooms have vaulted ceilings and valley
view. There are private shower, hair dryer. There are two
family suites. |

Village - Short driving distance to all highlights
in Cappadocia. True village life still goes on. Village
has a very old history and the obsidian workshop dating
the stone age proves this. There are still cave dwellers
