you say;
Before we came we knew visiting Turkey was going to be a wonderful experience but everything we saw and did and everyone we met exceeded, wildly exceeded, our expectations. You obviously love your country and you shared your country with us in such a way that we felt at once like we were welcomed - not strangers - and that learning about and experiencing Turkey made us appreciate even more what we all share in common.
November 2005 - Sherrill & Paul Schottler, Somerset Wisconsin
Dear Iris... Words cannot describe my feelings about Turkey and the people I encountered there. Your depth of knowledge and willingness to share that with us, in addition to your concern and caring for our personal problems and health issues went above and beyond the call of duty.
My four days of solitary wandering after the tour ended were very special in that I felt brave enough to interact with everyone I encountered and was treated with kindness and respect…no one laughed at my attempts to speak Turkish, they thanked me for my efforts.
Oct. 31, 2005 - Barbara Balseiro
The trip was an unlikely combination of relaxing and fascinating. A more pristine sea we have never seen. We swam a few times a day, often snorkeling, and enjoying exploring ruins and villages. Our captain and his crew were warm and accommodating.
Istanbul was quite a spectacle; interesting and exhilarating. It isn't all that dissimilar to our beloved NYC. It's just a bit more exotic.
Your service was flawless. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
Sept. 2005 - Jason Minter and Nicole Zernone
Thanks again for such a wonderful tour. You made it seem so easy and effortless, and I know that is not the case at all. I knew before I went that this trip would be a life changing experience, and the tour easily exceeded that very high expectation. Every day I woke up thinking that today couldn't possibly top what we did/saw/learned the previous day. And every day, I was wrong because you managed to do exactly that.
July 10, 2005 - Deborah Norris, Seattle WA
It is difficult to extract one highlight of the trip - but one of the most memorable was the visit to Mehmet Bey. It is difficult to put into words how I feel about that visit. We were treated so wonderfully kind by everyone involved. It was so very special to see your ancestral home and to see how everyone holds you in such high esteem.
Next would be the wedding - what a great cultural event for us to witness. To see two lovely people marry - and how their parents and family wanted to share it with us. How very warm and kind of them.
tour of East Turkey - June 2005 - Teresa Flynn
The trip was so rich with personal experiences and with historical and fascinating sights. If I pick one thing, I just neglect another. The trip was a wonderful experience end-to-end. The people on the trip were an excellent group. The people were interested and interesting, and they were right for the trip. Everyone was on time and actively participated. I have to say you did a great job on that.
I am not sure whose idea it was to stop the wedding car to get money near Igdir, but that was quite unexpected and another favorite memory of mine. I had never heard of that tradition.
tour of East Turkey - June 2005 - David Brown
Our vacation in your country was wonderful and everything you planned happened perfectly. We especially want to thank you for your quick responsiveness to everything and your flexibility. We would recommend you to anyone and have already done so to our friends. Take care.
June 4, 2005 - Ken & Carol Fabrizio, WA USA
Dear Lale, Turkey was the first stop on our trip and we have just arrived home. Your country and your services were superb. With friendly people, wonderful history and memorable vistas your country will be a both a cherished memory and a future objective. Our special thanks to you and everyone who made this trip so very, very special.

Tom and I back home and in to routine habits now. Thank you again for a most interesting tour! We are continually thinking back on all the incredible sites we saw, the volume of information we absorbed and the wonderful people we met. And of course, the delicious food! ...happy trails!
May 15, 2005 - Carol Budzinski, Novato CA
Thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience! Ed and I both enjoyed ourselves so much, and learned so much from you. The trip was a real high point for us. Whether personally or professionally, and hopefully both, I look forward to our continued association.

Tankut, I just want to again express my thanks for putting together an excellent tour with an outstanding guide. I also appreciate your taking time from your important meeting to visit with us. I look forward to meeting you again - on which continent remains to be seen!
May 16, 2004 - Larry Bieber
Dear Lale, I had the time of my life and my heartfelt thank you for all that you and Kitty did for our crazy group. We loved every moment and I am going through my pictures and hoping that the Journal will offer the personal insight that we all had...
May 2004 - Dinah Andress
Our trip with you was truly wonderful. I got everything and more from the experience that I was looking for. I think you both helped me learn about and experience the 'past' and 'present' Turkey in a way I will always remember and be thankful for.
Nov. 22, 2003 - David L. Blackburn
Jill & I so enjoyed living in the moment where our attentions were drawn from the sweep of ancient histories to the brilliant kaleidoscope that is your Turkey today. We are deeply grateful to you, especially, and your dynamic duo...
Nov. 2002 - Larry & Gill Belshaw
The Turkey tour was splendid, it gave us a whole new picture and welcome perspective on a part of the world we had not known...
Oct. 2002 - Angelica & Vic Sansum
How do you say 'thank you' to someone for the gift of a wonderful experience? The trip to Turkey is not just in my memory - it is a part of me...
Nov. 2002 - LaNece P. Lomonte
Dear Lale and Tankut, ...We both enjoyed travelling through Turkey much more than we had anticipated. More important, we want to thank you both for your assistance 'above and beyond'. Be assured that we will promote you and your company to anyone who is thinking about traveling to this part of the world. Best of luck to both of you,
Dec. 15, 2001 - Larry & Claire McKibben
Everywhere, there is a smile not only with the mouth but with their eyes... to be invited into a woman's home as we were walking down the street in the small village of Guzelyurt, or to see three other women making grape syrup that their mothers did for centuries was an experience we shall never forget. ...the name Mustafapasha will forever bring smiles to our lips as we think of the local musicians to come and play for us...
Oct. 2001 - Stan & Diana Haynes
Mother, Jim and I still look back at our tour of Eastern Turkey with fond memories, one of the most fun vacations we've ever taken! Thank you again for providing such an interesting, stimulating and well rounded introduction to your fascinating country. And for the concert of Mozart and Ravel in the ancient Roman theater.
March 2001 - Jim & Dianne Cannon
Bonnie and I had our most memorable trip with you this Spring. It sharpened our knowledge in one subject of continuing interest to us. It was also a very agreeable experience to see the country, meet the people in such congenial circumstances and with a guide having such academic prowess. We have had a long time interest in religious teachings and their impact. The Turkish trip exposed us to some of the background of the early Christian church and to the Moslem experience. ...I am hoping that our paths will cross again, your friends Richard and Bonnie
Aug. 11, 2000 - Richard & Bonnie Lang
Nancy and I are still in that 'rosy glow' of pleasant memories of our recent Turkey trip. Although the initial euphoria will fade, we know that the sights, sounds, unique experiences, and most of all, the relationshipswith our new found friends will always be a part of us. Thanks for making the country come alive. ...it was a priviledge to be with you on our Turkish adventure!
May 16, 2000 - Joe & Nancy Satterfield
Merhaba, We wish to express our thanks one more time for the trip of a lifetime. We appreciate your hard work and extra attention to detail in all respects for us and the group. ...the places we have been to are unforgettable but the people of Turkey are even a more precious memory. Your friends, Tyrell & Alicia
July 12, 2000 - Tyrell & Alicia Grohman
Dear Lale, ...your enthusiasm for and knowledge of your country is radiated through your smile and personality. Thank you for making our trip truly a memorable one.
